Fill pot about half way with water and bring to a boil*
Wash and peel apples
Cut apples into small slices or chunks, removing core and seeds (apple pieces should be able to fit into your food processor)
Carefully put cut apple into boiling water
Boil apples for about 15 minutes or until they are very tender and easy to pierce through with a fork
Remove apples using strainer or slotted spoon and let cool; save some of the water for reserve
Put apples in food processor until desired consistency; add reserve liquid 1 tablespoon at a time as necessary
Pour or spoon into trays and put in the freezer
