Sweet Potato Puree


Sweet Potato Puree


  • peeler
  • knife
  • cutting board
  • large pot
  • food processor
  • ice cube trays


  • 2 large sweet potatoes


  • Wash and peel sweet potatoes
  • Fill large pot about half way with water and bring to boil
  • Cut potatoes into large chunks (that will still fit into your processor)
  • Boil sweet potatoes for about 15 minutes or until soft enough to mash
  • Remove potatoes from water and allow to cool; save at least one cup of water as reserve
  • Process potatoes until desired consistency; add reserve ⅛ cup at a time as needed
  • Tranfer into trays
